The CleanAIR PERMIT Filter installed on a loader (off-road diesel vehicle) at a hard rock mine. The PERMIT Filter is a custom designed diesel particulate filter used to virtually eliminate emissions of particulate matter, carbon monoxide and hydrocarbons from diesel exhaust. The video shows a construction retrofit and emissions testing by the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) with a visible, dramatic reduction in particulate emissions (soot) after installation of the PERMIT Filter. Retrofitting an off-road fleet with PERMIT Filters can substantially decrease toxic emissions at a mine or construction site.
