Emissions and Product Guidebook Revised

Due to recent updates in the EPA National Emissions Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants for Reciprocating Internal Combustion Engines (RICE NESHAP), CleanAIR Systems has revised our popular Emissions and Product Guidebook to include the current regulation that will soon go into effect May 3, 2010 for existing stationary non-emergency diesel engines. There are significant changes to the proposed ruling and we advise you to carefully review the new information along with the original EPA final regulation. RICE NESHAP info with links to the final ruling can be found on pages 57 and 58 of the Emissions Guidebook.

To keep you up-to-date with regulatory info, new links and resource listings have also been added to this revision of the guidebook.

CleanAIR Systems Joins Girtz Industries to Create the Z-CUBE

Introduced at Power-Gen 2009, the Z-CUBE combines emissions control technology with containerized generator packaging to offer Tier 4 clean power.

Santa Fe, NM – December 2, 2009 – CleanAIR Systems is pleased to announce their contribution to the Z-CUBE, a Tier 4 turn-key solution for mobile power generation, engineered and manufactured by Girtz Industries. Constructed for high-horsepower demand and purpose-built to meet stringent upcoming EPA regulations, the Z-CUBE will be introduced on December 8th at the Power-Gen conference in Las Vegas.

Equipped with CleanAIR’s E-POD emissions control technology to dramatically reduce NOx, PM, HC and CO, the Z-CUBE is a standardized 40 foot long ISO container package built primarily for the rental power generation market. Housing a 1 MW generator and compact E-POD emissions control system, the unit also contains onboard urea storage, closed-loop dosing cabinet, internal urea mixing, injection air compressor and all necessary items required for operation.

Engineered by Girtz to be user-friendly, all components of the Z-CUBE can be unbolted, removed, replaced or serviced through the container’s access doors or roof. The Girtz Z-CUBE, with CleanAIR emissions control technology, is a complete turn-key system in one box to meet Tier 4 emissions levels.

The Z-CUBE will be on view at the Girtz Industries’ booth during Power-Gen at the Las Vegas Convention Center, December 8 – 10, Booth C3-1142.
