Governor Richardson Comments on Supreme Court Global Warming Decision

April 2 – Presidential hopeful, Governor Richardson of New Mexico issued the following statement on the recent decision by the Supreme Court concerning carbon emissions and global warming:

“Today’s Supreme Court ruling again shows that states are leading the way on progressive policies to keep our air clean and combat global climate change,” said New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson. “States are trying to fill the gap, as we have in New Mexico with our dramatic emission reduction goals and proposed clean tailpipe emission standards.”
