Green Solutions: On the Road with CleanAIR Systems

Mobile exhibit of emissions control technology tours the country this summer

Santa Fe, NM – July 30, 2008 – Emissions control manufacturer, CleanAIR Systems in cooperation with Caterpillar®, Inc., has produced a mobile exhibit of air pollution control products entitled “Green Solutions.” The traveling exhibit is part of a series of educational regional launch events presenting the new CleanAIR/Caterpillar allied vendor agreement to dealers throughout the country. Scheduled to make four stops during the summer months, Green Solutions will have visited CAT dealer locations on the West Coast, East Coast, Midwest and Rocky Mountain Regions from June through August.

The regional event presents products developed and manufactured by CleanAIR Systems, including the company’s PERMIT™ diesel particulate filters, ASSURE™ diesel oxidation catalysts, and ENDURE™ selective catalytic reduction system. Housed on a 40-foot flatbed trailer, Green Solutions rolls into each location for a three-day event, allowing Caterpillar dealers attending from several states a hands-on experience with full-size emissions control equipment, as well as offering in-depth educational presentations by the CleanAIR staff.

The Green Solutions exhibit began its tour in June at Peterson Power Systems located in San Leandro, California. In July it continued on to Baltimore, Maryland with a stop at Alban CAT, and then on to Denver, Colorado to visit Wagner Equipment Co. In August the tour will conclude in Caterpillar’s home city of Peoria, Illinois. Future dates for the traveling exhibit are currently being discussed.

Caterpillar, Inc. recently announced the selection of CleanAIR Systems, Inc. of Santa Fe, New Mexico, as the Caterpillar strategic alliance partner for emissions control products. CleanAIR’s emissions reduction technologies will be installed on existing Caterpillar commercial engines; positioning CleanAIR Systems as the preferred vendor of choice for custom-designed retrofit products.

Established in 1993, CleanAIR Systems designs and manufactures complete emissions control systems, including the PERMIT™ Filter, verified by the California Air Resources Board (ARB) for Level 3 reduction (greater than 85%) of exhaust particulate from prime power and emergency generators.

The relationship between CAT and CleanAIR Systems is part of a long-term strategy to deliver cost-effective solutions to meet customers’ increasingly complex emissions challenges.
